What:
Detectives assigned to the Burglary/Pawn Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a grand theft shoplifting suspect who stole from a St. Petersburg Walmart store. 

When: 
The theft occurred on Monday, January 12, 2015 at approximately 8:30 p.m.

Where:
The theft occurred at the Walmart store located at 10237 Bay Pines Blvd. in St. Petersburg.

How/Why:
Detectives assigned to the Burglary/Pawn Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a grand theft shoplifting suspect who stole from a local Walmart store.

According to detectives, the suspect entered the Walmart store located at 10237 Bay Pines Blvd. in St. Petersburg, on Monday, January 12, 2015 at approximately 8:30 p.m. Once inside the store, the suspect selected two children’s electric cars, placed them inside shopping carts and proceeded to exit the store. Once outside, he entered the passenger side of what appears to be a black Dodge Durango.

The suspect is described as a white male, 25-30 years of age, short reddish-brown hair, 6’00”-6’01” tall and approximately 170 lbs. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, jeans, a black and gray jacket and a key on a red lanyard around his neck.
