Seeking To Identify Suspect

What:
Detectives are requesting the publics assistance to identify an armed suspect who robbed a bank in Palm Harbor.

When:
The armed robbery occurred at about 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 19, 2014.

Where:
The armed robbery occurred at the Cadence Bank located at 36301 US  19 North in Palm Harbor.

Why/How:
Detectives say the suspect entered the bank, walked towards a teller, pointed a gun and demanded cash. The teller complied and the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Detectives say the suspect headed south through the shopping plaza.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 40 to 50 years of age, 5'10" to 5'11" in height with a stocky build. The suspect has a dark mustache and was wearing a black wig (possibly a mullet). The suspect was last seen wearing a white Tampa Bay Lightning hat, a long sleeved white shirt (possibly fisherman's style) with a red t-shirt underneath, gray sweatpants, white socks, white sneakers and dark sunglasses.

The investigation continues.
